They would be what you would call patties?
basically corn. peas and cottage cheese (or mashed potato, mixed veggies or chicken mince) mixed with some binding agent like flour and some spices, then patted into flat roundels and grilled.

Thanks Gr GR Moe Moe - your husky "Bo BO" just got a bath today to be all nice and clean for tomorrow

Raji, I hope your celebration was lovely!! I thought about you all today and I know you and Shanker are totally thrilled to have Kavya in your lives! And, we are so totally thrilled that you share her with us, too!

What a journey so far... And, you'll have so many more adventures to come, and I know I'm excited for you, Kavya and Shanker!

I hope the Winnie the Pooh cake was a hit!

I can't wait to see pix of the big day!

Hugs!!

Thanks for instructions, it sounds so yummy. I really am going to try it.
Bo Bo all cleaned up and ready to PARTY! I noticed Bo Bo in a pic. awhile back, he was in a lower shelf against the wall. Glad she liked Bo Bo.
You are probably already having fun. Enjoy the day.

She had a blast! the Pooh cake was a hit (and while I was busy admonishing 2 6 yr olds to wait and not put their fingers into the cake, Kavya went right ahead and tasted her cake!!! Palm in!! )

The decorations looked cute, and after the slideshow there were very few dry eyes

will post pics later

Very nice! That means your mother is a great-grandmother. One great-grandchild?

Just reading this now Raji. I was bragging about Kavya just the other day to friends. They have a lovely Indian couple as neighbours and they have a little girl who just turned one. Her name is Angelie and she reminds me a bit of Kavya. Both parents are residents at hospital in town. She is finishing a paediatrics residency and he is doing anaesthesia. I was telling them about how we have all been so blessed to watch Kavya grow. My sister was up with the boys on Saturday and I was showing her the pics from the wedding. I particularly like her kissing the ring bearer.

Happy Anniversary! Give Kavya a big hug from Auntie Brenda.

Swooping in late with big congratulations on your one year celebration as a family. Wow Raji, this year has gone by so quickly. I'm really happy that you and Kavya found each other, it was obviously meant to be and it is such an honor for you to share all these special moments with all of us. Big hugs to all three of you!
