Default Celebrating Freedom & Peace Of Mind!

Post stealing from Rain!LOL!

I am celebrating my one year of freedom from my former husband!YAYYYYYYYY!!!!! I look forward to more happier years ahead!I couldn't have done it without ya's!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl "Will you marry me?"
The girl said, " NO!"

And the girl lived happily ever after and went shopping, dancing,
camping, drank whole bottles of wine, always had a clean house,
never had to cook when she didn't feel like it, did whatever the hell she wanted, when she wanted, never argued, didn't get fat, travelled more, had many lovers, and always had all the hot water to herself. She went to the theatre, never watched sports, never wore fricken lacy lingerie that went up her butt, had high self esteem, never cried or yelled, and felt and looked fabulous all the time.ADDITIONAL ..

Plus she never had to listen to beer cans being popped open every night all night long and husband throwing drunken fits or find it hard to breathe in her her own home due to an idiots chain smoking!AND if she wanted ...she could lounge about all day in her jammies with no complaints!AND no longer put up with his rude grown daughters insults any longer!

THE END

Yeeeeee-haaaaaa!! My goodness, it's been a year? That's wonderful, of course, but time sure flies whether we're having fun or not!

I don't know how HAPPY I really am ...but I am not living in mayhem any longer either!LOL!I am thankful that I am finally *physically*well! That bloody pneumonia almost killed me!

I am trying to find a different type of work.Put my application in at Wallyworld yesterday. At least I'd have a regular schedule.Last week I only had 16 hours and all this week-only 24 hours and next week I am only scheduled for 24 hours and I cannot live on that few hours. The agencies clients have been passing away like mad So that means oodles of women are out of work at this moment and we don't know how long it will be before new clients are registered.I'm thankful I have 24 hours a week right now!If I could get on at Walmart and keep my 24 hours a week with this one client-that would be great! Maybe they would work with me on that.So cross your everythings that something more financially stable pops up for me ok.Work is scarce around here.

AND thanx ladies for your support! As usual I am most grateful for it!

Ione I can't believe it's been a year - probably feels longer to you. Well done and good luck with the job hunting.

It's just amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it isn't it.

Good for you Ione! Good for you!

I can surely identify with your first post: Shopping! Dancing! Drinking whole bottles of wine! Always a clean house! (in my case a housekeeper would be the reason ) Never had to cook when she didn't feel like it! Did whatever the hell she wanted when she wanted!

I love my man, but boy oh boy, marriage sometimes ain't all what its cracked up to be............. ..

Ione, being alone does not necessarily mean being lonely. I can assure you that when you need people, you will find them, when you don't you don't have to hide from them.

Okay, I've never been married, but I do know that being single can be every bit as satisfying - you really don't need a man to complete your life. (You can have *several* men, when you're single!).

Anyway, enjoy life on your own terms.

Carmel

Well, I have been married and single and I agree with you, Carmel. Being single doesn't necessarily mean lonely and being married doesn't guarantee you won't be. I think both states have great things to offer. And I can say unequivocally that there is *nothing* worse than being in a bad relationship -- married or not. I enjoyed being single when I was. And I enjoy being married now. There's no perfect situation, you just have to do what's best for you at the time and make the most of what presents itself. So enjoy your freedom and privacy, Ione. I'm happy for you.
