Last year when we came back from our holiday, the partly wild cat had produced kittens in our garden. they were wild but slowly got use to us beeing here. Couple of weeks ago one of them disappeared, but week later it was back in front of the house, but it couldnīt moove. No sing of any injury, so I took her to the vet. The poor thing had a fracture on a spine, but they gave hope it migth get better, so I nursed her in a house till yesterday. Went back to the vet, no improvement, the only thing to do was to put her to sleep. Cryed my eyes out, and now the mother cat is just about to have some more kittens, there is no way I can taken to the vet to put them down.
Rang animal help center and they are over run with kittens with little hope of geting them a home, but they did promise to come and catch the mother cat after and have her nutered. But the kittens, we are off soon to Finland again for few months, Iīm sick with worry. zambra

This is so sad. It really hurts when anything happens to any animal, one you have come to care for. This is the bad part about being old, I cannot walk a dog, no fenced yard and people afraid I will trip on one, with my walker that could happen. I send purple healing power.

couldn`t ans. PM because they were lost. Thanks.

Hugs.

We had a similar experience once, Zambra. The mother cat gave birth to her litter in our shed, but once she realized I knew where the kittens were, she moved them one by one to the nieghbor's garage!

I did the same thing you did--called animal control to have her picked up and neutered before she could become pregnant again.
