I took Buddy to the vet for his annual check up and he is very healthy except for his teeth. He has one that has the gum growing over it for some reason and the only way to fix it is to cut it out. So he goes back to the vet next Friday. They will do surgery on him early in the day and he will have to stay there for the rest of that day until they can verify that all is well. He's not too happy with me because he blames me for all the "sticks" and "probes" that he had, but he's really going to be angry next Friday. Keep my baby in your thoughts okay?

Oh, well - don't worry. Siamese never hold a grudge. Muaaahaaahaaa. :p

On the other paw, hope everything goes well with the surgery, even if Buddy won't be on speaking terms with you for awhile.

Do hope Buddy is well by now. My Siamise had two back teeth out last week, she was sorry for herself for a day or two, but now back to normal.
Hugs to you both zambra

Poor little Buddy. But my old Lewis has had a few teeth removed - his bites now are more like kisses!

Let us know how Buddy went.

I am in a tizzy. It's now 3 o'clock and nothing from the vet! Okay, she said not to worry because many times they are ready to go home until four or later, but I'm really worried about my baby. :(

Is he home yet?

The office called and told us it would be eight or later before he'd be ready to come home, but the vet herself called me at seven. His temp is still too low and she's afraid that at his age (ten) he wouldn't drink enough water to stay hydrated properly. Oh, and they ended up taking out not one or two teeth, but five of them! So my baby is alone at the vet's tonight hooked up to a slow drip IV. Please keep him in your thoughts. I'm really worried. She said he was out for almost two hours while she did the work on his mouth. My poor, poor baby....

Buddy is home and he was very vocal on the ride home. But he has settled in and seems to be recovering well. He has been very hungry having not eaten for a whole day, but he's making up for it rapidly.

He says, "Meeeooowww!" which I think means thank you for thinking of him.

     Happy news. Bappy news.

I told Lonesome about your cat and he says hello, get well fast.

Can anyone tell me how to make Lonesome stop hitting me whin I leave him? He pops off and claws my legs. I have so manysores from him and he isn't even my cat. I think he moved it.

So glad Jan!

My brother boarded his little fellow out for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It's done wonder - it's such a good little boy now! And follows daddy everwhere.
